"Coming here has changed my life because
this place is helping me get back on my pins!"

“Last month, I had an intensive week of therapy at TheraMAX, while my family had a short holiday in the Algarve.
Once I got over the surprise of finding such a
sophisticated and well-equipped facility in the picturesque village of Alte in
the depths of central Algarve, I quickly realised that Jodi is an exceptional
therapist.
I have been disabled for a decade and in that period I
have tried many different approaches and styles of physical therapy. Without
doubt, Jodi is one of the very best therapists with whom I have worked. In
particular, her gait analysis is superb. My mobility is poor and my walking
style was very idiosyncratic and would not have looked out of place in a Monty
Python sketch. Jodi helped me very quickly and my walking is already improving
almost beyond recognition. Also I am speeding up.
Already, I am making plans to return to Theramax as soon as possible -
hopefully for a longer visit.
I recommend TheraMAX without reservation.”

"I have the highest
regard for her professional ability, and have made considerable progress with
mobility since becoming one of her clients, to the extent that I have recently
felt confident enough to go back to work. Jodi is a skilled therapist, capable
of making a significant difference to her clients"

"I dread to
think what condition my body would have been in - I was told that I would be
confined to a wheelchair, I am now able to walk unaided. I have 100% confidence
in the therapy - it has become an integral part of my lifestyle. Being based in
Portugal, theraMAX is a 'winning combination' - excellent therapy
combined with the good weather is an absolute bonus!"

"I have had hours of
therapy elsewhere, but have definitely found this to be the most beneficial.
When one has had so much therapy, one soon is able to identify the therapists commitment
and skill - the therapy received here is un-matched elsewhere!"

"The approach is
flexible, immensely practical and often quite ingenious, when a new angle to a
problem is required.
Improvement with spinal
cord injury is slow, frustrating and laborious, but I can attribute a large
measure of progress to Jodi's technique, perseverance and encouragement.
The approach is direct,
realistic and scientific. There is pressure when necessary but also
encouragement and a sympathetic ear when the going is tough. I value the
patience and focused concentration, as well as the obvious commitment to the
disabled."
